Jane graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 2015, from the University of Guelph in 2022 with a BScH in Biological Sciences, and then from the University of Western Ontario in 2023 with a Master degree in Interprofessional Pain Management.
In 2016, Jane completed specialized training in the Dr. Vodder method of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) massage and Combined Decongestive Therapy. Jane has also pursued advanced training in lymphatic and kinesio taping, scar release techniques, and axillary web syndrome/cording management.
In addition to MLD techniques, Jane also uses Swedish Massage, orthopaedic kinesio taping, dermoneuromodulation techniques, and low-grade joint mobilizations in her approach to helping her patients’ achieve their rehabilitation and wellness goals.
Jane is registered with the Ministry of Health as an Assistive Devices Program Authorizer.
For general compression garments, Jane has had training by Jobst, Juzo, and Bauerfeind.
In her spare time, Jane likes getting outside and doing things in the fresh air, such as hiking with her family, travelling, camping, and working on her flowerbeds and edible garden.
